The motifs are painted in watercolour by the mill's own Italian artists and then printed onto the fabric in northern Italy. The fabric is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

The bedspread is made from a single layer of heavy linen rather than several layers with filling in between. That means it drapes heavily and flat down the bed instead of puffing up – and it can go in an ordinary washing machine. Linen is one of the oldest textile fibres we know: strong, breathable and quick-drying, and it gets softer with every wash without losing its structure. Because linen is a natural material, there are small irregularities in the weave – not a flaw, but what gives linen its drape and character.

Wash at 40 °C with a colour detergent, no bleach. Air dry or tumble dry on low, and ideally iron while still slightly damp.

Other sizes or another design?

Not sure about the size for your bed, or would you like to see another design from the collection?
