It shows here: the base is cut like a small chandelier, and when you look down through the mouth of the glass the cuts reflect the light back and forth between each other, making the glass sparkle even brighter.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe effect is strongest with a clear or pale drink – a light whisky, gin, shochu or a clear cocktail – where the cut in the base is free to play.
