Among the most exclusive knife manufacturers in the world is Nenox from Tokyo. The knife here is a 24 cm K-Tip chef's knife in Western style with a fabulous blade and a beautiful handle made of one of the most expensive types of wood available - Desert Ironwood knotty wood from Arizona.

This knife is a K-Tip G yuto , which is based on the classic French chef's knife. The knife is good for most cooking tasks, and is therefore suitable for both slicing and chopping meat and vegetables.

The steel the knife is made of is stainless, and Nenox does not disclose its composition. Some manufacturers understandably do not want to reveal all their secrets, but we can reveal that this is an absolutely special class of steel.

When you hold this knife you get the feeling of being in possession of a beautiful piece of equipment. The knife is not only good, but also a masterpiece in its workmanship. The wood that the handle is made of is Desert Ironwood knot (olneya tesota) from southern Arizona. It is a very expensive and hard wood similar to ebony, which is therefore not susceptible to water, oil - or dirt in general. This also means that you can count on a knife that keeps its appearance.
