Small Tray – small wooden tray with a low rim and brass details
Small Tray is a compact tray for the small things that otherwise end up everywhere: keys, jewellery, watches, spices or the salt and pepper mills on the kitchen counter. The low rim keeps everything together without hiding it. A handmade solid wood tray from our own workshop in Denmark.
Features:
The tray is made from solid furniture-grade wood in one continuous expression. The routed handles at each end are fitted with an inlaid brass rail – a detail that makes the tray easy to lift and gives it a crisp, handcrafted look.
The size makes it ideal for the hallway, the bedside table, the bathroom or as a gathering tray for mills and salt cellars in the kitchen. It matches our cutting boards and magnetic knife holders in the same woods.

Quality:
The tray is made by hand in our own workshop in Denmark – in FSC-certified solid furniture-grade wood, never veneer or laminate. It goes through a series of manual processes and is finished with a natural oil that brings out the character of the wood and gives a durable, easy-care surface.

We only use carefully selected FSC certified furniture wood. The primary wood types are oak and walnut.
We finish all products with a food-approved oil.
PLEASE NOTE that we always try to create unique and well-crafted products with an exciting visual expression and play of colors. You should therefore take our photos as a guide and not as a guarantee of how the finished product will appear.
Remember that wood is a living material. No two pieces of wood are the same, so all product photos are indicative.

Real products, honest pictures
With us, craftsmanship, materials and aesthetics are at the heart of everything we do. Our product images are designed to give you an honest and inspiring impression of what you're getting – without unnecessary staging.
The vast majority of product photos in our webshop are therefore taken by us – whether it's a grinder, a magnetic knife holder, a serving board or one of our textiles. The images of our wooden products always show genuine, handmade products that we photograph before they are packed and sent to their new owners.
To give you a better idea of how the products will look in different homes and kitchens, we sometimes insert these original photos into AI-generated rooms or backgrounds. Only the background is artificial – the product itself is never altered or AI-generated. Every grain, edge, color, and detail you see belongs to the physical product we created.
We also occasionally receive photos from satisfied customers who give us permission to use them in the webshop. These photos provide an honest and inspiring insight into how our products look in real homes and environments.
No artificial product renderings. No misleading visual enhancements. Just real craftsmanship, photographed honestly.

We are constantly expanding our product gallery. As many of our products come in a variety of sizes and variations, we do not yet have images of all of them. The image shown when you select a product primarily illustrates the selected wood type – not necessarily the specific size or design variation.
Every piece of wood is unique
Wood is a living natural material, and our passion is to create unique products with character. The grain patterns and color play will therefore naturally vary from product to product. Please consider our images as guiding inspiration and an indication of the quality we deliver.

The products from Rune-Jakobsen Woodworks are 100% Danish, handmade cabinetmaking quality, designed and manufactured to last for generations.

We spend time selecting, sorting and cutting the wood we use, so that our products always appear with a beautiful and coherent visual expression without cracks and knots.
You will also not find any cheap fittings or veneer or laminate boards in the products. All products are made of solid, FSC certified oak, smoked oak or walnut.
Our products are manufactured "on demand", so when you place an order with us, you do not receive a product picked from a warehouse shelf - Instead, we manufacture each product specifically for you.
This of course means that we only produce one design at a time, and it takes the time it takes to create a high-quality product, so there is approximately 12-15 business days of delivery from when you order until we have your order ready for shipment. (Applies to standard products. When ordering furniture, bathtubs and display cases, 8-12 weeks of delivery should be expected)
All of our designs are handmade in our small furniture workshop to the highest quality standards with uncompromising focus on detail and craftsmanship.
