Stoneware fired bowl in a practical portion size for e.g. breakfast or soup.
The bowl is glazed with the 'Midnatshav' glaze - a deep dark base with an overlying touch of dull blue-grey, which should reproduce the color of the sea when it is not blue.
The bowl is 'double-dipped', and where the glaze overlaps, it gets a beautiful, lighter stripe - hence the name 'Bølge' (wave). In the same series there are both plates and tea service.
The bowl is stamped with logo on the inside and is signed on the outside.
Tolerates both dishwasher and microwave.
About ceramics from Dorte Visby, Ceramicas Sevilla and G.B. Cogo
Dorte Visby: Born in 1968, trained pottery maker in 1993 and has since 1998 had a workshop gallery in Lønstrup, North Jutland.
She exhibits her work both in Denmark and abroad. Exhibited at SOFA in Chicago and New York, Collect in London and most recently at the Superbie in Berlin.
Dorte is also a repeat exhibitor at the ceramics museum 'CLAY' in Middelfart

The payment information you enter when purchasing goods is sent in encrypted form (SSL).
Your bank, PayPal and credit card information is therefore processed securely and cannot be read by anyone other than you and your card provider/bank.

When ordering stock items, payment is reserved on your account immediately after placing the order and the purchase amount is withdrawn when we ship your order.
Note:
All products from Rune-Jakobsen Woodworks (wood products) are custom-made to order. Therefore, the purchase amount is considered a prepayment/deposit and will be reserved and deducted from your account when your order is approved.
This means that the purchase amount is deducted while the order is still in process and not only when it is shipped.
If you regret your purchase, we will of course refund the full purchase amount.
⏎ Complaints and right of withdrawal
According to the Danish Sales Act, Rune-Jakobsen Design grants a 2-year warranty from the invoice date for manufacturing and material defects (defects).
The right of complaint does not cover errors, damage or wear and tear, directly or indirectly resulting from incorrect operation, incorrect maintenance, violence or unauthorized interventions.
Any complaints about defects in delivered products must be made to Rune-Jakobsen Design within 14 days after the buyer has - or should have discovered the defect.
You have 30 days after receipt to notify us that you regret the purchase, and then you have an additional 8 days to return it.
The right of withdrawal applies to all standard products in the webshop.
The right of withdrawal and return for custom-made products in special sizes is only valid if a special (written) agreement has been made.
If you regret your purchase and return the item(s), we will refund the full purchase amount when the item(s) are delivered back to us in unused and undamaged condition.
You can use a shipping company of your choice and bear the costs associated with the return yourself.
When returning due to a complaint, Rune-Jakobsen Design will cover the return costs.

All prices in the webshop are displayed in your local currency. All prices include applicable EU VAT.
Countries outside the EU can trade VAT-free. When selling to countries outside the EU, VAT and customs duties may be imposed in accordance with applicable legislation.

Rune-Jakobsen Design is a Danish company that ships all products from Denmark (EU).
We charge VAT in accordance with the applicable VAT rates in each EU country for orders within the EU + Norway.
If you shop with us from an EU country, you will therefore not be charged additional costs.

Rune-Jakobsen Design ships 'Delivered at place' (DAP), also called 'Delivered duty unpaid' (DDU)
This means that we (Rune-Jakobsen Design) are only responsible for shipping the product and that you (the customer) are responsible for paying any import costs to the shipping company, such as customs duties, import duties or brokerage/disbursement fees upon delivery.
So if you are resident in a country outside the EU, in some cases customs duties and taxes may be imposed. This depends on both the purchase amount and the product category.
