Our collection of flexible and well-worked, functional shelf designs are made of solid oak, smoked oak or walnut and can be used for countless purposes anywhere in your home or apartment.

The small difference that makes the big difference
At Rune-Jakobsen Design we only use solid FSC-certified furniture wood for all our products - no veneer or laminate.

Of course, this also applies to our collection of shelves and boxes which are handmade individually to order in our furniture workshop.

All shelves have hidden suspension with quality brackets, and screws and rawplugs are of course included with your order.

Returns
When you order a shelf to order in the webshop without having "seen it in reality" there will always be some degree of uncertainty, as no two shelves are the same or have the same visual expression - so perhaps the result was not quite as you expected.

Therefore, we provide full rights to return shelves, even if they are custom-made. At Rune-Jakobsen Design we only collect satisfied customers!

We only use carefully curated FSC certified furniture wood. The primary woods are oak, smoked oak and walnut. In addition, we offer a number of special types of wood that are sold in conjunction with special orders, e.g. Teak, ash, chestnut, golden rain, cherry, wengé, zebrano, beech, etc.

We finish all products with a high-quality wood oil, but if you would prefer e.g. an oil with a white pigment, we can of course do that too - the desired final treatment can be mentioned under the remarks of the ordering.

We aim to continuously expand the catalog so that sizes and designs are best illustrated in the webshop.

There are not photos of all variants and sizes, so the photo that appears when choosing a variant in the webshop mainly reflects only the type of wood - not necessarily size or other variations in the design.

In the manufacture of our products we take no shortcuts, and you will find no easy solutions in the craftsmanship.

In other words, we always go the extra mile!

We spend time selecting, sorting and cutting the wood we use, so that our products always give off a beautiful and coherent visual expression without cracks and knots.

You will also find no cheap fittings or plates with veneer or laminate in the products. All products are made from solid, FSC certified oak, smoked oak or walnut.

Our products are manufactured "on demand", so when you place an order with us, you do not receive a product picked from a storage shelf - Instead, we manufacture each product specifically for you.

Of course, that means that we only produce one design at a time, and to create a high quality product takes time, so therefore there is approximately 10-14 days of delivery time from your order until we have your order ready for shipping. (Applies to standard products. When ordering furniture, bathtub and display cases, 8-12 weeks delivery time is expected)

All our designs are handmade in our small furniture workshop to the highest quality standards with uncompromising focus on detail and care.
