Rune-Jakobsen Design is a Danish family company founded by Kari and Torben Rune-Jakobsen in 2016. We create and select lasting products for the kitchen and home, with a clear focus on function, materials and genuine craftsmanship.

Designed and handmade by us

Under the name Rune-Jakobsen Woodworks, we design and make magnetic knife holders, cutting boards, serving boards, shelves and other solid-wood pieces in our workshop in North Jutland. Many products are made to order, and custom dimensions are available.

Selected craftsmanship

Alongside our own work, we collaborate with specialist workshops and family businesses in Italy, France, Greece, Belgium, Sweden and Japan. We choose products for their origin, technical quality and the people behind them—not because they follow a short-lived trend.

Personal service

There is no call centre or automated support desk. Questions are answered by Kari or Torben, who know the products and can advise on materials, dimensions, delivery and care.
