All of our knife rails and knife blocks are designed with combinations of super powerful N50/N52 neodymium magnets.
Still, I have chosen to design MEGA because I often get inquiries from customers who want an extraordinarily strong and deep knife rail, where the knives just stay hanging no matter what...
MEGA has 100% more traction than our other rails and is an obvious choice if you have Damascus steel knives.
NOTE
MEGA is ONLY recommended for knives made of, for example, Damascus steel or other alloys that have difficulty adhering to normal magnetic rails. The vast majority of knives will be able to be held on one of my standard rails without any problems.
MEGA-25 measures 6 cm in height and only extends approx. 25mm from the wall. The magnets are invisibly encapsulated in the wood and distributed in several rows so you achieve optimal adhesion with multiple contact points on the knife blade.
This prevents your knives from "spinning" around on the rail and being attracted to each other.

MEGA can be ordered as Exclusive or Standard.
- Exclusive has brass or aluminum details on the top/bottom
- Standard is in solid wood without any frills
MEGA comes with concealed suspension and solid brackets. Screws and raw plugs are of course included.
We only use carefully curated FSC certified furniture wood. The primary woods are oak, smoked oak and walnut. In addition, we offer a number of special types of wood that are sold in conjunction with special orders, e.g. Teak, ash, chestnut, golden rain, cherry, wengé, zebrano, beech, etc.
We finish all products with a high-quality wood oil, but if you would prefer e.g. an oil with a white pigment, we can of course do that too - the desired final treatment can be mentioned under the remarks of the ordering.

Our magnetic knife rails and knife blocks have a well-crafted visual expression and are of very high quality.
The vast majority of knife rails and knife blocks on the market are mass-produced in factories in Asia or Eastern Europe.
With us you will only find 100% Danish-produced knife storage, handmade to order especially for you.
Unlike many other knife rails and knife blocks on the market, our knife holders are fully magnetic . This means that the rail or knife block is effective across the entire length/width and you can place your knives as you wish.
We only use powerful, high-quality neodymium magnets in various sizes and formats, which are carefully selected so that they work optimally with the knife rail's design and purpose.
Many manufacturers choose to market point magnetic products that can only hold a limited number of knives as there is only one round magnet per knife.
Our knife rails contain several continuous rows of powerful N52 Neodyminum magnets along the entire length of the rail, so your knives are guaranteed to stay hanging regardless of size and weight.
So with us you will not find any cheap disc magnets drilled into the wood from the back of the rail, as is often the case with other rails on the market.
The bar magnets in our products are invisibly encapsulated in the wood and are distributed in several unbroken rows so that you achieve optimal adhesion with multiple contact points on each knife blade. This way you avoid your knives slipping down, or "spinning" around and being attracted to each other if they are close together.

The knife magnets in the webshop are standard designs and formats - but you can easily have a product made to your specifications. Just contact us - and we will make a custom product for you.
We will of course make minor changes to the standard dimensions free of charge.

In other words, we do not create "buy cheap - use - and throw away" solutions in knife storage.

Suspension:
All our knife rails come as standard with various types of hidden brackets for screw suspension on the back (screws and rawl plugs included)
But if you have, for example, a tiled wall that you do not want to screw into, most knife rails can also be manufactured without a suspension so that they can be glued on with, for example, “No more Nails” from Pattex or a similar mounting adhesive. Special requests for suspension should be stated in the notes section when ordering.
Return policy
When you order a unique knife block or knife holder in the webshop without having "seen it in real life", there will always be a built-in uncertainty as no two products are ever the same or have the same visual expression - so the result may not be quite what you had imagined or expected.
That's why there is a full right of return on all knife holders - even if they are custom-made.
You can now get all RJ Woodworks products with copper details as an alternative to brass or aluminium for an additional charge depending on size and design.

It requires knowledge and experience to choose the right type of magnets and place them invisibly in the wood so that full magnetism is achieved throughout the length/width of the holder as well as optimal attachment of the knife blade so that the knife can be easily removed from the block or rail without using unnecessary force.
