Scherning Copenhagen

All SCHERNING jewelery is made by hand.

At their workshops in Copenhagen and Portugal, the jewelery is processed from start to finish by expert hands.

Each piece of jewelry is unique.

The jewelery is treated with care from the casting, to the decoration and firing - and all processes are done by hand.

As a natural part of the process, slight variations may occur from piece to piece.

The porcelain pendants are cast in their own moulds, where after hardening they are sent on to the firing process.

Each pendant is burned a total of three times. Between firings, each individual part is checked and polished by hand. The pendants are decorated before the third and final firing.

Each individual piece of jewelery is handled countless times before the porcelain pendants are finally ready to become a unique SCHERNING piece of jewellery.

Scherning values ​​good craftsmanship and care and effort are key values ​​in their jewelery production.
