Showcases and wooden bathtubs (hereafter 'the product') are handmade to order.
When ordering a product, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the purchase amount is charged. The remaining amount is due for payment when the product is ready for dispatch.
If you regret your purchase during the manufacturing process or after receiving the product, we will refund the purchase amount minus the 30% deposit
You (or recipient of the product) have 14 days after receipt to notify us if you regret the purchase, and then you also have 14 days to send it back.
Returns are at the buyer's expense.
Purchase amount excl. the deposit is refunded when the product is returned and received in undamaged condition.
If there is transport damage during the return or damage caused by the buyer during handling of the product, the right to a refund expires.
Complaint
Rune-Jakobsen Design provides, according to the Sales Act, a 2-year right of complaint from the invoice date for manufacturing and material defects (deficiencies).
The right of complaint does not cover errors, damage or wear and tear, directly or indirectly caused by incorrect operation or use, incorrect maintenance, violence or unauthorized interventions.
Any complaints about defects in delivered products must be made in writing to Rune-Jakobsen Design within 14 days of receipt, after which the right to claim will expire.

With RJD-22 we have evolved the design and added 2 drawers
RJD-22 is manufactured by default from oak, smoked oak or walnut.
You get:
- recessed doors
- 2 drawers (H 120mm)
- Shelves in 2mm solid brass
- Shelf bearings and signature details in brass
- Closing with invisible magnets on the top/bottom so that the doors close in a way not too dissaimilar to a Rolls Royce.
- Hand turned hand grip in solid brass

RJD-22 is a transparent and modern piece of furniture in a light and floating language, breaking tradition with the classic display case as a slightly heavy furniture with wide wooden profiles, thick shelves and firm backs.
RJD-22 is characterised by concealed doors with hidden hinges flowing from the front, narrow wooden profiles, floating shelves and it is produced without back covering by default, to underline the transparent expression.
The hidden hinge makes the front appear without disturbing elements, while the almost invisible shelf bearings in brass contribute to the pure expression.

When you order a display case from us, it is not picked from a warehouse shelf, but made especially for you.
The display cases are individually handcrafted by master joiner Mads Christensen in our cabinetry according to the highest quality standards and with the extremely skilled cabinetmaker's uncompromising sense of detail and craftsmanship.
If you want a custom-made showcase, it is of course also possible to have it tailored to your wishes.
