Kampot Blanc – white Kampot pepper
Light, cream-colored berries with a strong aroma. Kampot pepper from Cambodia is one of the most highly regarded origins in the world and has a protected geographical indication. The pepper here is single-origin and hand-picked, meaning it is harvested in one growing area rather than mixed.
Taste and use
Notes of citrus, menthol and vanilla, and an intense, round sharpness. Harmonizes with white meat, fish, light sauces – and strawberries, which is the combination that surprises people the most.
About grinding pepper
Pepper loses its aroma within minutes of being crushed, as the volatile oils evaporate. That's why it's only ground or pounded when it's ready to use - and that's why you can even taste the difference in origin. White pepper is the same berry as black pepper, but with the outer skin removed - so the taste is cleaner and less bitter.

Kampot pepper:
This pepper, which is one of the best in the world, has been grown in the Cambodian province of Kampot for centuries.
This spicy black pepper grows in the southern part of Kampot Province, which lies between the southern foothills of the Elephant Mountains and the Gulf of Thailand.
Due to this special location - between the mountains and the sea - the pepper plant grows in particularly nutrient-rich soil and can therefore develop its full aroma. The Kampot Noir harvest takes place in the months of April to June.
Muntok pepper:
Originating from the Indonesian island of Bangka, not far from Sumatra, and named after its export port, it contains only about 1% essential oils, has less aroma and a cleaner spiciness than traditional black pepper.
Penja pepper:
Penja Blanc grows on volcanic soil, which is rich in minerals and thus gives the pepper its character. The pepper has a round, intense spicy taste. In addition, the peppers are fully ripe. The taste is robust and powerful with a mineral aroma. It harmonizes with fish and shellfish, poultry, vegetables, orange and pear.
Thekkady pepper:
Originating from the southwestern Indian region of Kerala, in Periyar National Park, ancient pepper varieties that are threatened with extinction are cared for and handpicked by local people as part of a sustainable, organic management system. These ancient varieties have a much higher proportion of essential oils than new hybrid peppers.
Time for pepper:
This pepper from Nepael is considered the Nepalese Szechuan pepper, which is not botanically related to black pepper (Piper nigrum), but to citrus plants.
The Timut pepper plant grows wild as a tree with dense leafy branches, where thorns of up to two centimeters make harvesting difficult, around 2,000 meters. After flowering in spring, red berries are formed, containing shiny black seeds.
Later, in the fall, the ripe berries are harvested by hand. Then, the pickers, almost always women, carefully separate the harvested berries from other plant components, such as stems and leaves, by hand. The berries are then dried, and the small black seed balls fall out of the shell. This is a good thing, because they taste bitter.
Indian mountain pepper:
Indian mountain pepper is hand-picked "single-origin" and the pepper is dried in the sun for a very long time.
This jungle pepper grows in a pepper plantation in the heights of the Western Ghats in southern India. The plantation has been run as a purely organic farm for over 20 years and places great emphasis on rich biodiversity. This farm has one of the highest rainfalls in India.
Sri Lankan pepper:
Sri Lanka is world famous for its excellent spices and spice gardens.
The pepper has very beautiful brown berries with a lot of strength and content. And it has a lovely spiciness that tingles a little and stays in the mouth for a long time. The pepper from Sri Lanka therefore harmonizes very well with beef, soups and sauces, dressings and ragouts.

The vast majority of product photos in our webshop are therefore taken by us – whether it's a grinder, a knife holder, a serving board or one of our textiles. The images of our wooden products always show genuine, handmade products that we photograph before they are packed and sent to their new owners.
To give you a better idea of how the products will look in different homes and kitchens, we sometimes insert these original photos into AI-generated rooms or backgrounds. Only the background is artificial – the product itself is never altered or AI-generated. Every grain, edge, color, and detail you see belongs to the physical product we created.
We also occasionally receive photos from satisfied customers who give us permission to use them in the webshop. These photos provide an honest and inspiring insight into how our products look in real homes and environments.

⏎ Right of withdrawal
You have 30 days after receipt to notify us that you regret the purchase, and then you have an additional 8 days to send it back.

The right of withdrawal and return for custom-made products in special sizes is only valid if a special (written) agreement has been made.

We ship DAP (Delivered At Place) to Australia and GST is not charged at checkout. Whether your order will be subject to tax upon arrival depends on one simple threshold:
Orders under AUD 1,000: No duty, no GST, no fees. Your order is delivered directly to your door at no additional cost — the price at checkout plus shipping is all that matters.
Orders over AUD 1,000: Australian authorities charge import duties and GST, which the carrier will settle with you before delivery. Here's how it's calculated:
- Customs duty: approximately 5% of the price of the goods (the rate depends on the type of goods).
- GST: 10% of goods + freight + customs duty.
- Processing fee: a fixed fee for customs clearance from authorities and the shipping company, typically AUD 100–200 total.
Calculation example: You order goods for AUD 1,600 with AUD 150 in shipping.
- Duty: 5% of 1,600 = AUD 80
- GST: 10% of (1,600 + 150 + 80) = AUD 183
- Processing fee: approx. AUD 100–200
- Total import costs: approximately AUD 360–460 — on top of what you paid at checkout.
Good to know: The limit applies per shipment. So if your order is just over AUD 1,000, it may be best to either keep the order below the limit or add a little more to your cart so that the import costs are spread over a larger purchase — the processing fee is the same whether the order is AUD 1,100 or AUD 3,000.

We ship DAP (Delivered At Place) to Canada. Canadian sales tax (GST/HST) and any handling fee will be charged. by the shipping company upon import.
All of our products — with the exception of the Japan collection — are of EU origin and can therefore be imported duty-free under the EU-Canada Free Trade Agreement (CETA). Products from our Japan collection may be subject to customs duties at the regular Canadian rates.
🌍 Customers from other countries
For other countries outside the EU, orders are shipped DAP (Delivered At Place). This means that any import duties, local VAT and handling fees are collected by the shipping company when the goods arrive in your country.
These fees are set by your local authorities and are beyond our control. Many countries have a threshold below which orders are exempt - if in doubt, please check with your local customs authorities or write to us before ordering.
