Dorte Visby: Born in 1968, trained pottery maker in 1993 and has since 1998 had a workshop gallery in Lønstrup, North Jutland.

She exhibits her work both in Denmark and abroad. Exhibited at SOFA in Chicago and New York, Collect in London and most recently at the Superbie in Berlin.

Dorte is also a repeat exhibitor at the ceramics museum 'CLAY' in Middelfart

When ordering stock items, payment is reserved on your account immediately after placing the order and the purchase amount is withdrawn when we ship your order.

Note:
All products from Rune-Jakobsen Woodworks (wood products) are custom-made to order. Therefore, the purchase amount is considered a prepayment/deposit and will be reserved and deducted from your account when your order is approved.

This means that the purchase amount is deducted while the order is still in process and not only when it is shipped.

If you regret your purchase, we will of course refund the full purchase amount.

⏎ Complaints and right of withdrawal
According to the Danish Sales Act, Rune-Jakobsen Design grants a 2-year warranty from the invoice date for manufacturing and material defects (defects).

The right of complaint does not cover errors, damage or wear and tear, directly or indirectly resulting from incorrect operation, incorrect maintenance, violence or unauthorized interventions.

Any complaints about defects in delivered products must be made to Rune-Jakobsen Design within 14 days after the buyer has - or should have discovered the defect.

You have 30 days after receipt to notify us that you regret the purchase, and then you have an additional 8 days to return it.

The right of withdrawal applies to all standard products in the webshop.

The right of withdrawal and return for custom-made products in special sizes is only valid if a special (written) agreement has been made.

If you regret your purchase and return the item(s), we will refund the full purchase amount when the item(s) are delivered back to us in unused and undamaged condition.

You can use a shipping company of your choice and bear the costs associated with the return yourself.

When returning due to a complaint, Rune-Jakobsen Design will cover the return costs.

🏷️ Prices and sales
All prices in the webshop are displayed in your local currency. All prices include applicable EU VAT.

Countries outside the EU can trade VAT-free. When selling to countries outside the EU, VAT and customs duties may be imposed in accordance with applicable legislation.

• We do not participate in January sales, Black Weeks, Black Friday or other types of sales.

• Our prices in the webshop are the same year-round.

• You can get a 15% discount all year round if you buy more than 3 wooden products and a 10% discount when buying more than 3 tea towels.

Rune-Jakobsen Design is a Danish company that ships all products from Denmark (EU).

We charge VAT in accordance with the applicable VAT rates in each EU country for orders within the EU + Norway.

If you shop with us from an EU country, you will therefore not be charged additional costs.

Rune-Jakobsen Design ships 'Delivered at place' (DAP), also called 'Delivered duty unpaid' (DDU)

This means that we (Rune-Jakobsen Design) are only responsible for shipping the product and that you (the customer) are responsible for paying any import costs to the shipping company, such as customs duties, import duties or brokerage/disbursement fees upon delivery.

So if you are resident in a country outside the EU, in some cases customs duties and taxes may be imposed. This depends on both the purchase amount and the product category.

Rune-Jakobsen Design cannot be held liable for any loss, accident, damage or injury caused by knife holders in connection with knife blades made of non-magnetizable alloys, such as carbon steel, stainless steel or other non-magnetizable alloys.

Rune-Jakobsen Design cannot be held responsible for accidents, damage or incidents caused by incorrect use of knife holders, as well as knife holders that are not mounted correctly using the mounted suspension brackets and screws (wall-mounted designs) or correct/responsible placement of table models.

Rune-Jakobsen Design cannot be held responsible for accidents, injuries or incidents caused by knives as a result of incorrect or inappropriate use or hanging of knives on the knife holder.

Some of our products may contain small parts that may pose a choking hazard to small children. Therefore, all of our products should be kept away from small children and babies.

We always strive to ensure that our products are as accurate as possible in terms of product and content descriptions, but in some cases there may be minor discrepancies in color or design due to variations in screen settings or human error during production.
