Rune-Jakobsen Design Has agency over the beautiful household textiles from Tessitura Toscana Telerie, which since 1947 has been producing tablecloths, pillows, blankets, sheets etc. in sustainable- and exclusive quality from their studio in Florence.

Tessitura offers a universe of exclusive housing textiles that bring you on a journey in experience, colors, quality and Italian aesthetics at its most beautiful - and most humorous.

All measurements in our webshop are given in centimeters (cm).
If you use inches (inches), you can easily convert:

1 cm = 0.39 inch
1 inch = 2.54 cm

The flax plant has been cultivated for thousands of years and is one of the oldest plants that has been used in the manufacture of clothing and textiles.

Linen fabric is made from the flax plant and is 100% natural. The production is sustainable and the result is strong and fine fibers, which are spun into yarn that is woven and dyed into the finished fabrics.

The flax fibers are naturally thicker and stronger than other materials, and are 30% thicker than cotton. This makes it very durable, so you don't have to worry about wear and tear and the more you use your linen products, the softer and more beautiful they become.

To make the best of the amazing features of the flax, we recommend that you follow the following below: Washing and care instructions:

• Flax fabric is soaked in lukewarm water before the first wash - preferably overnight (closely woven things prefer a day or more). This prevents the flax fibres from breaking.
• Wash at 60 degrees 
• Apply detergents without bleach and optical white
• Spin cycle should be as short as possible - flax dries quickly off itself.
• Hørren smoothed and stretched in a wet state;
• Avoid bright sunlight during drying
  
• Avoid tumble drying
• Can be ironed or rolled before completely dry
• Count on 5-7% shrinkage
  

Tips 

• Tablecloths/runners - Roll the slightly damp linen cloth/runner smooth and tight around a plastic tube and let it finish drying!
• Tea towels - soak in cold water for 24 hours before the first wash - then they quickly become really good with high absorbency!
• Dried red wine stains - Dab a little glycerine on the stain, put it all in a plastic bag overnight, then wash at 60 degrees
  
• Other spots- Use dishwashing liquid without color, put it all in a plastic bag overnight, then wash at 60 degrees
  

 Here's how to best care for your flax products:

• Linen is best washed at max. 40C coloured wash or possibly. on wool program at 30-40C, with liquid wool wash or special wash. No tumble drying!
• Linen does not need to be washed nearly as often as other materials! You can treat your product like wool and just hang it for airing
• Linen becomes nice and soft from drying outdoors in a light breeze - Avoid direct sunlight.
• You do not have to iron (but of course you can) - the natural wavy expression is part of the charm of linen products.

For us, craftsmanship, materials and aesthetics are the focus. Our product images should give you an honest and inspiring impression of what you get – without unnecessary staging.

The vast majority of product photos in our webshop are therefore taken by ourselves – whether it is a grinder, a knife holder, a serving board or one of our exclusive textiles.

The images of our wooden products always show real products that we have handmade for a customer and photographed before they were delivered.

We also occasionally receive photos from satisfied customers who kindly allow us to use them in the webshop. These photos provide an honest and inspiring insight into how our products look in real homes and environments.

A Guide to Variants

We are constantly expanding our product gallery. As many of our products come in a multitude of sizes and variations, we do not yet have photos of every single one. The image displayed when you make your selection primarily illustrates the chosen type of wood – not necessarily the specific size or design variation.

All prices in the webshop are displayed in your local currency. Prices for customers in the EU, UK, Switzerland and Norway always include the applicable VAT. Further information on customs duties and fees can be found in the section below.

We believe in the value of good craftsmanship – and this is reflected in our prices, which are the same for all customers all year round. We do not participate in discount campaigns such as Black Friday, and you will not find discount codes for our shop on external sites or offer services.

It's a conscious choice: We don't want to discriminate against our customers, so instead of short-term or individual discounts, we offer quality products at fair prices and these benefits that are always available to everyone:

When will the money be withdrawn?

• For items in stock: The amount is reserved on your account when you place your order and is only withdrawn when we ship your package.
• Woodworking (custom-made wooden products): These products are handmade to order, therefore the order is considered a binding pre-order.
• The purchase amount will be deducted as soon as your order is approved and production has started. Should you regret your purchase, we will of course refund you the full amount.

30-day cancellation policy

You have 30 days from the date of receipt of the goods to notify us that you wish to cancel your purchase. You then have a further 8 days to return the goods. The right of cancellation applies to all standard products.

⏎ Right of withdrawal

You have 30 days after receipt to notify us that you regret the purchase, and then you have an additional 8 days to send it back.

The right of withdrawal applies to all standard products in the webshop.

The right of withdrawal and return for custom-made products in special sizes is only valid if a special (written) agreement has been made.

If you regret your purchase and return the item(s), we will refund the full purchase amount when the item(s) are delivered back to us in unused and undamaged condition.

According to the Danish Sales Act, Rune-Jakobsen Design grants a 2-year warranty from the invoice date for manufacturing and material defects (defects).

Complaints about defects or damage to delivered products must be made to Rune-Jakobsen Design within 14 days of receipt of the item(s).

The right of complaint does not cover errors, damage or wear and tear, directly or indirectly resulting from incorrect operation, incorrect maintenance, violence or unauthorized interventions.

If you cancel your purchase, you can use a shipping company of your choice and bear the costs associated with the return.
