Showcases and wooden bathtubs (hereafter 'the product') are handmade to order.
When ordering a product, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the purchase amount is charged. The remaining amount is due for payment when the product is ready for dispatch.
If you regret your purchase during the manufacturing process or after receiving the product, we will refund the purchase amount minus the 30% deposit
You (or recipient of the product) have 14 days after receipt to notify us if you regret the purchase, and then you also have 14 days to send it back.
Returns are at the buyer's expense.
Purchase amount excl. the deposit is refunded when the product is returned and received in undamaged condition.
If there is transport damage during the return or damage caused by the buyer during handling of the product, the right to a refund expires.
Complaint
Rune-Jakobsen Design provides, according to the Sales Act, a 2-year right of complaint from the invoice date for manufacturing and material defects (deficiencies).
The right of complaint does not cover errors, damage or wear and tear, directly or indirectly caused by incorrect operation or use, incorrect maintenance, violence or unauthorized interventions.
Any complaints about defects in delivered products must be made in writing to Rune-Jakobsen Design within 14 days of receipt, after which the right to claim will expire.

A wooden bathtub is the ultimate measure of exclusive elegance. It adds atmosphere and warmth to your bathroom environment and the wood keeps the water warm for longer than traditional bathtubs.
TUB is handmade by master joiner Mads Christensen, who, in addition to his education as a cabinetmaker, is also trained by the country's leading masters in the old cooper trade. He creates TUB according to the highest quality standards and with the skilled cabinetmaker's uncompromising sense of detail and craftsmanship, where every rod in the tub is cut, planed and adjusted by hand to achieve optimal assembly quality.
TUB is manufactured in teak or oak and is supplied as standard with stainless steel bands and optional placement of the drain.
The drain will be placed at the bottom of the vat so you can place your wooden tub near the existing floor drain. There is room for a hidden hose under the bottom of the wooden bathtub.
Wood is a living material that keeps developing. This means that the tub can eventually become a little leaky if it is left unused. It is therefore advisable that you occasionally fill your vessel and let it soak and expand to maintain its density.
