WINDSWEPT is a classic, angled knife block with brass or aluminum details.
The slim, fully magnetic knife holder stores and presents your knives in the most beautiful way at an angle of 22.5 degrees.
You can also choose Windswept as double-sided magnetic, so it holds knives on both the front and back. Then you get the opportunity to store your most beautiful/most used knives on the front - and store the remaining ones a little out of the way on the back 😉
Windswept is manufactured with brass details as standard. If you want aluminum instead of brass, you can write it as a note in the shopping basket.
The magnets are invisibly encased in the wood and distributed in several rows so that you achieve optimal adhesion with several contact points on the knife blade. This prevents your knives from "spinning" around and being attracted to each other.

We only use carefully curated FSC certified furniture wood. The primary woods are oak, smoked oak and walnut. In addition, we offer a number of special types of wood that are sold in conjunction with special orders, e.g. Teak, ash, chestnut, golden rain, cherry, wengé, zebrano, beech, etc.
We finish all products with a high-quality wood oil, but if you would prefer e.g. an oil with a white pigment, we can of course do that too - the desired final treatment can be mentioned under the remarks of the ordering.

Unlike many other knife rails and knife blocks on the market, our knife holders are fully magnetic.
This means that the rail or knife block is fully magnetic throughout its entire length/width and you can place your knives anywhere on the rail or block.
We only use powerful, high-quality neodymium magnets in various sizes and formats, which are carefully selected so that they work optimally with the knife rail's design and purpose.
Many manufacturers choose to market point magnetic products that can only hold a limited number of knives as there is only one round magnet per knife.
Our knife rails contain several continuous rows of powerful N52 Neodyminum magnets along the entire length of the rail, so your knives are guaranteed to stay hanging regardless of size and weight.
So with us you will not find any cheap disc magnets drilled into the wood from the back of the rail, as is often the case with other rails on the market.
The bar magnets in our products are invisibly encapsulated in the wood and are distributed in several unbroken rows so that you achieve optimal adhesion with multiple contact points on each knife blade. This way you avoid your knives slipping down, or "spinning" around and being attracted to each other if they are close together.

We will of course make minor changes to the standard dimensions free of charge.

We invest time in selecting the right wood to ensure that our products appear harmonious and visually appealing, and during production we prioritize meticulousness and thorough grinding processes that include coarse, medium and fine grinding done by hand. This ensures that the knife holders get a beautiful finish that will patina beautifully and last for many years.
All our products are finished with a discreet "Rune-Jakobsen" stamp and oiled with an environmentally friendly furniture oil, which supports our focus on quality and sustainability.
In other words, we do not create "buy cheap - use - and throw away" solutions in knife storage.

Suspension:
All our knife rails come as standard with various types of hidden brackets for screw suspension on the back (screws and rawl plugs included)
But if you have, for example, a tiled wall that you do not want to screw into, most knife rails can also be manufactured without a suspension so that they can be glued on with, for example, “No more Nails” from Pattex or a similar mounting adhesive. Special requests for suspension should be stated in the notes section when ordering.
Return policy
When you order a unique knife block or knife holder in the webshop without having "seen it in real life", there will always be a built-in uncertainty as no two products are ever the same or have the same visual expression - so the result may not be quite what you had imagined or expected.
That's why there is a full right of return on all knife holders - even if they are custom-made.
You can now get all RJ Woodworks products with copper details as an alternative to brass or aluminium for an additional charge depending on size and design.

In general
All product photos are real photos of the specific products. However, some photos have added interiors and surroundings created using artificial intelligence to create atmosphere and put the product into context.
Regarding Woodworks
We aim to continuously expand the catalog so that sizes and designs are best illustrated in the webshop.
There are not photos of all variants and sizes, so the photo that appears when choosing a variant in the webshop mainly reflects only the type of wood - not necessarily size or other variations in the design.
NOTE that we always try to create unique wooden products with an exciting visual expression. You must therefore take our product photos as a guide and not as a guarantee of how the finished product appears in terms of year drawings and color play.

Note:
All products from Rune-Jakobsen Woodworks (wood products) are custom-made to order. Therefore, the purchase amount is considered a prepayment/deposit and will be reserved and deducted from your account when your order is approved.
This means that the purchase amount is deducted while the order is still in process and not only when it is shipped.
If you regret your purchase, we will of course refund the full purchase amount.
⏎ Complaints and right of withdrawal
According to the Danish Sales Act, Rune-Jakobsen Design grants a 2-year warranty from the invoice date for manufacturing and material defects (defects).
The right of complaint does not cover errors, damage or wear and tear, directly or indirectly resulting from incorrect operation, incorrect maintenance, violence or unauthorized interventions.
Any complaints about defects in delivered products must be made to Rune-Jakobsen Design within 14 days after the buyer has - or should have discovered the defect.
You have 30 days after receipt to notify us that you regret the purchase, and then you have an additional 8 days to return it.
The right of withdrawal applies to all standard products in the webshop.
The right of withdrawal and return for custom-made products in special sizes is only valid if a special (written) agreement has been made.
If you regret your purchase and return the item(s), we will refund the full purchase amount when the item(s) is/are delivered back to us in unused and undamaged condition.
You can use a shipping company of your choice and bear the costs associated with the return yourself.
When returning due to a complaint, Rune-Jakobsen Design will cover the return costs.

All prices in the webshop are displayed in your local currency. All prices include applicable EU VAT.
