Konosuke in Sakai - these are absolutely top-class knives. The family-owned forge is currently run by Kosuke Kawamura, the great-grandson of the original founder.

It is a relatively small company with a consequent production, but due to the absolutely eminent craftsmanship, the knives from Konosuke have nevertheless achieved a very special status worldwide, which means that the most popular models are almost always sold out.

Konosuke's knives are often very light - and combined with the stylish design, it just makes for a particularly beautiful knife that we have never seen before.
