Stoneware salt bowl from Dorte Visby.
Handmade unique salt pan. Measures 7-8 cm in diameter.
Stoneware is clay fired and tempered at around 1200°C to 1315°C . It is literally man-made rock. General earthenware is fired at lower temperatures.
Machine washable.

Dorte Visby: Born in 1968, trained pottery maker in 1993 and has since 1998 had a workshop gallery in Lønstrup, North Jutland.
She exhibits her work both in Denmark and abroad. Exhibited at SOFA in Chicago and New York, Collect in London and most recently at the Superbie in Berlin.
Dorte is also a repeat exhibitor at the ceramics museum 'CLAY' in Middelfart
