Hand painted tile with Spanish lady - La Menina

Unique hand painted tile from Spanish Ceramicas Sevilla.

The motif is inspired by Diego Velázquez's famous painting from 1656 "Las Meninas" - the waiting ladies. The Spanish lady is painted with a stylistic stroke. The glaze is bold and shiny. The tile measures 15 x 15 cm and can be used for serving, display or decoration. Can of course also be installed as a wall tile in the kitchen or bath.

The tile is painted by Marta Hernandez, educated in Fine Arts at Seville University.
