From the first Advent to New Year's Eve
The motif is painted in watercolour by one of Tessitura's Italian artists and printed on the fabric in Northern Italy. The Florence-based weaving mill has been making festive textiles since 1947.

Tessitura offers a universe of exclusive housing textiles that bring you on a journey in experience, colours, quality and Italian aesthetics at its most beautiful - and most humorous.
Tessitura collaborates with 15 different Italian designers and artists who first paint the beautiful motifs In watercolours, after which they are printed on either flax or cotton.
The textiles are manufactured in northern Italy, Both flax, hemp and cotton textiles are of course certified.
- from Tessitura are light, elegant and versatile. Flax is the most resistant textile fiber in nature. It is durable and does not lose its shape. It is heat regulating and has excellent moisture absorption properties.
Flax textiles from Tessitura are sustainably produced. Only flax plants grown without the use of irrigation or fertilizers are used. At the same time, only European-grown flax is used, which is considered the best in the world due to the climate, as well as the producers' know-how and expertise throughout the production chain.
All linens are made from flax grown by EUROPEAN producers certified by CELC (Confederazione European Confederation of Linen and Hemp)
This means that the origin of the felt textiles and the cultivation processes, which respect the soil and the ecosystem without fertilizers and artificial irrigation, are both regulated.
THE COTTON TEXTILES
White, light and soft cotton is the most common textile fibre in the world. Tessitura has always chosen only the finest qualities of natural cotton grown in the best production areas in Egypt and a USA.
The main properties of the cotton Tessitura uses are its long- and extremely thin fibres and its very high resistance. Biproducts from production are biodegradable and do not harm the environment.
Tessitura produces certified energy through solar panels over an area of 1500 m2; The annual energy production is approximately 55,000 kWh, which covers roughly 50% of the annual energy requirement. On sunny days, our plant produces 47kWh, and unused energy is returned to the grid as renewable energy.
The packaging materials at Tessitura are made from plastic-free fabric bags (PVC, PET, PE, PP) whenever possible. For transparent packaging, they use EVA-certified CSI recycled plastic.

Care instructions – Linen
Flax is one of the world's oldest textiles and has been used for thousands of years. It is a 100% natural fiber, made from the flax plant, which is grown with low resource consumption and processed into one of the most durable textiles available.
Linen fibers are naturally stronger and sturdier than cotton, making the fabric exceptionally durable. At the same time, linen only gets more beautiful with time – the more it is used and washed, the softer and more comfortable it becomes.
To maintain the quality and enjoy your linen products for many years, we recommend the following:
Before first wash
Soak the product in lukewarm water before the first wash – preferably overnight. Tightly woven products can be soaked for up to 24 hours. This helps the fibers retain their natural strength.
Wash
Wash at max. 40°C on a gentle or coloured programme. Kitchen textiles such as tea towels can be washed at 60°C if necessary.
Use a gentle detergent without bleach or optical brighteners.
Spin for as short a time as possible – linen dries quickly on its own.
Drying
Gently smooth and stretch the fabric while it is still damp.
Air dry outdoors in a light breeze, but avoid direct sunlight.
Avoid tumble drying.
Ironing
Linen can be ironed or rolled while it is still slightly damp.
If you want the characteristic, relaxed look, ironing is not necessary – the natural folds are part of the charm of linen.
Shrink
Expect a natural shrinkage of approx. 5–7%.
Good advice
Tablecloths and runners
Roll the slightly damp cloth or rag tightly around a smooth plastic tube and let it dry completely. This will give a nice, smooth result.
Tea towels
Soak tea towels in cold water for about 24 hours before washing for the first time. This improves their natural absorbency.
Stains
Dried red wine stains: Dab a little glycerin on the stain, place the product in a plastic bag overnight, then wash.
Other stains: Treat with a mild, colourless dishwashing detergent, leave overnight in a plastic bag, then wash as normal.
A material that lasts for many years
Linen does not need to be washed as often as many other textiles. Often, it is enough to hang the product to air between uses. With the right care, your linen products will develop a beautiful patina, become softer over time and maintain their quality for many years.

The vast majority of product photos in our webshop are therefore taken by us – whether it's a mill, a knife holder, a serving board or one of our textiles. The images of our wooden products always show real, handcrafted pieces, photographed before they are packed and shipped to their new owners.
To help you imagine how the products look in different homes and kitchens, we sometimes place these original photographs into AI-generated interiors or backgrounds. Only the background is artificial – the product itself is never altered or AI-generated. Every grain, edge, colour and detail you see belongs to the physical piece we made.
From time to time, we also receive photos from happy customers who kindly allow us to use them in the webshop. These images offer an honest and inspiring glimpse of how our products look in real homes and surroundings.
No artificial product renders. No misleading visual enhancements. Just real craftsmanship, photographed honestly.
Reference images when choosing a variant
We are constantly expanding our product gallery. As many of our products come in a wide range of sizes and variants, we don't yet have photos of them all. The image shown for your selection therefore primarily illustrates the chosen wood type – not necessarily the specific size or design variation.
Every piece of wood is unique
Wood is a living, natural material, and our passion is creating unique products with character. Grain patterns and colour tones will therefore naturally vary from piece to piece. Please consider our images as guiding inspiration and an indication of the quality we deliver.

These terms apply to purchases from Rune-Jakobsen Design ApS. Contact us before ordering if you need clarification about a product, custom dimensions, delivery or returns.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency and tax setup applicable to your market. We use fixed, fair prices and do not run seasonal sales or Black Friday campaigns. Standing quantity benefits are applied automatically where stated on the website.
Orders and handmade products
An order is confirmed when you receive our order confirmation. Many Rune-Jakobsen Woodworks products are handmade to order. Current production and delivery times are shown on the product page. Natural variations in colour, grain and structure are part of solid wood and handmade materials.
Delivery, VAT and duties
We ship worldwide from Denmark. Shipping options and prices are calculated at checkout. Orders to the USA are shipped DDP, with duties and tariffs charged at checkout. For UK orders, UK VAT is added at checkout. Other international orders may be subject to local taxes or import charges unless checkout states that delivery is DDP.
30-day right of withdrawal
You may withdraw from your purchase within 30 days of receiving it. This applies to standard and custom-made products. Returned items must be unused, undamaged and securely packed. We refund the full purchase price after receiving and checking the return. Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the return concerns an accepted defect or incorrect delivery.
Complaints
Please contact us promptly if an item is damaged, defective or incorrect. Include your order number and photographs where relevant, so we can resolve the matter as efficiently as possible.

Delivery and Shipping
Worldwide shipping
We ship from Denmark to customers worldwide. Available carriers, delivery methods and the final shipping price are shown at checkout and depend on destination, parcel size and weight.
Dispatch and production times
In-stock products are normally dispatched within 1–2 business days. Many Rune-Jakobsen Woodworks products are handmade to order; the current production time is shown on each product page.
VAT, duties and import charges
Orders within the EU are shipped without import duties. Orders to the USA are shipped DDP, so duties and tariffs are calculated and paid at checkout. For UK orders, UK VAT is added at checkout. For other non-EU destinations, local taxes or import fees may apply unless checkout specifies DDP delivery.
Tracking and delivery
You will receive tracking information when the order has been dispatched. Please contact us if tracking does not update, a parcel arrives damaged or the carrier requests charges that were already paid at checkout.

30-Day Right of Withdrawal
You may notify us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase within 30 days of receiving the order. The right of withdrawal applies to all products, including products made in custom dimensions.
Returning an item

Refund
We refund the full purchase price after the returned item has been received and checked. The refund is made to the original payment method.

Customs, VAT and Duties
All orders are dispatched from Denmark. The way VAT, duties and import charges are handled depends on the delivery country.
European Union
Prices include the applicable VAT. There are no customs duties on deliveries within the EU.
United Kingdom
Prices are shown excluding UK VAT, which is added at checkout. Any duties handled through a DDP service are also shown and paid before dispatch.
United States
Orders are shipped DDP. Duties, tariffs and import charges are calculated and paid at checkout.
Other destinations
Checkout shows the tax and duty setup available for your destination. Where DDP is not offered, local taxes, duties or carrier fees may be charged on import.
