This beautiful gift box with two rocks/whisky glasses celebrates the Japanese motif of happiness in its most elegant form: the crane and Mount Fuji – finely and precisely reproduced with gravure engraving that appears discreet in daylight and vibrant when the glass meets the light.

The motif is no coincidence. The crane is traditionally associated with luck, loyalty and a long life, while Fuji symbolizes strength, calm and timelessness. And as an extra, festive detail, the glasses come in red and clear – a clear reference to red and white, colours that in Japan are associated with celebrations, congratulations and good wishes.

This is what characterizes a real rocks glass

The Rocks glass (also known as the whiskey/old fashioned glass) is designed to fit comfortably in the hand and serve whiskey neat or “on the rocks” – but works just as beautifully for classic cocktails. The low, wide shape provides space for ice and makes the glass stable, while the weight and clarity of the crystal glass elevates the experience in both hand and mouth.

A gift with clear symbolism

The set is perfect for festive occasions – but is also a special gift idea for abroad, because the design communicates “Japan” immediately: iconic, recognizable and full of meaning.
Enjoy it as a small, daily luxury – or as a gift that says more than words.

Like all Kagami Crystal glassware, they come in a sealed wooden box – ready to give as a gift.

Kagami Crystal glassware is made in small batches and demand is high – so pieces may be sold out or on back order from time to time. Each glass passes through several manual processes by experienced craftsmen, from precision cutting and engraving to the final polishing, and Kagami puts finish, clarity and longevity ahead of large production volumes. That means longer production times and that some models are only available in limited numbers.

Would you like to order more glasses than we have in stock, or pre-order a sold-out model? Write to Kari at info@rune-jakobsen.dk – we will check the options with Kagami and come back to you with the most accurate delivery time and any alternatives.
