Small practical bowl turned in a gray clay, developed for serving snacks, soup, breakfast etc. at Restaurant 'Villa Vest' in Lønstrup.
With a loving care for traditional Danish earthenware, Dorte Visby has given the bowl a raw exterior, where the gray color of the clay comes into its own, and a glazed interior. The bowl is glazed with the beautiful 'Midnatshav' glaze - a deep dark base with overlying touches of dull blue-grey and some glossy details.
This glaze has been developed by Dorte Visby to reproduce the color of the sea when it is not blue.
In the same series there are both a deep plate and a dinner plate. The bowl is stamped with the logo and is signed on the outside.
H. about 5,5 cm. Diameter about 12,5 cm.
Tolerates both dishwasher and microwave.

Dorte Visby: Born in 1968, trained pottery maker in 1993 and has since 1998 had a workshop gallery in Lønstrup, North Jutland.
She exhibits her work both in Denmark and abroad. Exhibited at SOFA in Chicago and New York, Collect in London and most recently at the Superbie in Berlin.
Dorte is also a repeat exhibitor at the ceramics museum 'CLAY' in Middelfart

Note:
All products from Rune-Jakobsen Woodworks (wood products) are custom-made to order. Therefore, the purchase amount is considered a prepayment/deposit and will be reserved and deducted from your account when your order is approved.
This means that the purchase amount is deducted while the order is still in process and not only when it is shipped.
If you regret your purchase, we will of course refund the full purchase amount.
⏎ Complaints and right of withdrawal
According to the Danish Sales Act, Rune-Jakobsen Design grants a 2-year warranty from the invoice date for manufacturing and material defects (defects).
The right of complaint does not cover errors, damage or wear and tear, directly or indirectly resulting from incorrect operation, incorrect maintenance, violence or unauthorized interventions.
Any complaints about defects in delivered products must be made to Rune-Jakobsen Design within 14 days after the buyer has - or should have discovered the defect.
You have 30 days after receipt to notify us that you regret the purchase, and then you have an additional 8 days to return it.
The right of withdrawal applies to all standard products in the webshop.
The right of withdrawal and return for custom-made products in special sizes is only valid if a special (written) agreement has been made.
If you regret your purchase and return the item(s), we will refund the full purchase amount when the item(s) are delivered back to us in unused and undamaged condition.
You can use a shipping company of your choice and bear the costs associated with the return yourself.
When returning due to a complaint, Rune-Jakobsen Design will cover the return costs.

All prices in the webshop are displayed in your local currency. All prices include applicable EU VAT.

Rune-Jakobsen Design is a Danish company that ships all products from Denmark (EU).
We charge VAT in accordance with the applicable VAT rates in each EU country for orders within the EU + Norway.
If you shop with us from an EU country, you will therefore not be charged additional costs.

Rune-Jakobsen Design ships 'Delivered at place' (DAP), also called 'Delivered duty unpaid' (DDU)
This means that we (Rune-Jakobsen Design) are only responsible for shipping the product and that you (the customer) are responsible for paying any import costs to the shipping company, such as customs duties, import duties or brokerage/disbursement fees upon delivery.
