About boards
Our selection of handmade cutting and serving trays will help you with your cooking and at the same time dress any kitchen or dining table.
We make everything from small spreadsheets to huge show boards so you can definitely find a board with us that matches your wishes and needs.
All boards are handmade in our small North Jutland furniture joinery. The boards are made individually and we make every effort to give each board a beautiful harmonious and individual expression.
NOTE:
Wood is a living material that expands and contracts depending on temperature and humidity - unfortunately metal does not, so you will find that with boards with brass or aluminum , the metal will occasionally "stretch" out a bit - and other times it will be pulled similarly into the wood. Hopefully, however, it will most often sit where it should as when the board was created.
The small difference that makes the big difference!
Unlike many other manufacturers of bacon boards, we consider a board to be a piece of furniture that must be made with care .
We spend time on the visual expression and prioritize both coarse, medium and fine sanding with downgrading between each sanding, so the end result is a beautiful board with a silky soft finish that patinates beautifully and ensures you a board you can enjoy for many years without it becoming rough and tiring to look and feel.
Only solid FSC certified furniture wood is used for all our boards. Likewise, the production of trays is under the control of the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration.

Since all our products are made to order, you can easily have your board made to your liking. Of course, we make small changes in relation to the standard dimensions and juice groove free of charge.
When you order a unique board in the webshop without having "seen it in reality" it will always be with a built-in uncertainty as two boards are never the same or have it same visual expression - so maybe the result was not quite as you had imagined or expected.
