A knife made by Danish, award-winning knifemaker Michael West is instantly recognizable, and each knife is a masterpiece of craftsmanship with attention to detail and perfection.

Michael West is known for developing his own modern Nordic design, based on Scandinavian knifemaking traditions. His approach to knifemaking is modern and has a classic, almost graphic dimension.

The combination of traditional techniques and modern design results in knives that are not only beautiful but also highly aesthetic.

Since the start in 1979, he has worked hard to find the simplicity and essence of the knife – and with great success.

Michael West's work creates a whole, where lines, shapes and materials create a natural balance, tension and unity. You will find mammoth tusks and molars, semi-precious stones and fossils as well as exotic woods and various exquisite metals, often in compelling combinations.

For those who appreciate the art of knife making, a Michael West knife is a must-have for any collection. His reputation as a skilled knifemaker is well-deserved, with a host of international awards and satisfied customers who have experienced the quality and beauty of his work. Whether you are a collector or a user of fine knives, a knife from Michael West is sure to impress.
