Products Rune-Jakobsen Woodworks Is 100% handmade furniture cutter quality, designed and manufactured to last for generations.
The Small Difference That Makes a DifferenceIn the manufacture of our products we shoot no shortcuts, and you will find no easy solutions in the craftsmanship.
In other words, we always try!
We spend time selecting, sorting and cutting the wood we use. so our products always appear with a beautiful and coherent visual expression without cracks and knots.
You will also find no cheap fittings or plates with veneer or laminate in the products. All products are produced in solid, FSC certified oak, smoked oak or walnut.
Our products are manufactured "on demand", so when you place an order with us, you do not receive a product, picked from a storage shelf - Instead, we manufacture each product specifically for you.
Of course, that means that we only produce one design at a time, and that takes time. It has been possible to create a high quality product, so therefore there is approx. 10-14 days delivery time from your order until we have your order ready for shipping. (Applies to standard products. When ordering furniture, bathtub and display cases, 8-12 weeks delivery time is expected)
All our designs are handmade in our small furniture shelter to the highest quality standards with uncompromising focus on detail and craft care.

We only use carefully selected FSC certified furniture wood. The primary woods are oak, smoked oak and walnut. In addition, we offer a number of special types of wood that are sold in conjunction with special orders. Fx. Teak, ash, chestnut, gold eggs, cherries, wengé, zebrano, beech, etc.

About Rune-Jakobsen Design
Under our own brand 'Rune-Jakobsen Woodworks', we manufacture sustainable home furnishings and kitchenware in the joinery and in addition we have a Nordic agency for the home textiles from Italian Tessitura Toscana Telerie and the handmade spice grinders from Alexander Handmade Mills as well as the kitchen knives from Ansø of Denmark gastro and MKnives.
You will also find textiles from Swedish 'Klässbols', Belgian 'Libeco' and other manufacturers of high-quality products.
'Rune-Jakobsen Design' was founded by Torben Rune in 2016, when after many years as a manager and public boss he chose to go independent.
A few years later, Kari followed, and the company is now run and managed by both of us with good help from family, friends and other business partners. In scenic surroundings far out in the countryside in Østhimmerland, we have created the ideal framework for the company with a focus on personal customer service and our passion for good design and quality craftsmanship.
