About the 'Woodworks' products
Products by Rune-Jakobsen Woodworks are 100% danish, hand-made craftmanship quality, designed and manufactured to last for generations.
The Small Difference That Makes a DifferenceIn the manufacture of our products we take no shortcuts, and you will find no easy solutions in the craftsmanship.
In other words, we always go the extra mile!
We spend time selecting, sorting and cutting the wood we use, so that our products always give off a beautiful and coherent visual expression without cracks and knots.
You will also find no cheap fittings or plates with veneer or laminate in the products. All products are made from solid, FSC certified oak, smoked oak or walnut.
Our products are manufactured "on demand", so when you place an order with us, you do not receive a product picked from a storage shelf - Instead, we manufacture each product specifically for you.
Of course, that means that we only produce one design at a time, and to create a high quality product takes time, so therefore there is approximately 10-14 days of delivery time from your order until we have your order ready for shipping. (Applies to standard products. When ordering furniture, bathtub and display cases, 8-12 weeks delivery time is expected)
All our designs are handmade in our small furniture workshop to the highest quality standards with uncompromising focus on detail and care.

We are always ready to make a non-committal offer of exactly what you would like.
We only use carefully curated FSC certified furniture wood. The primary woods are oak, smoked oak and walnut. In addition, we offer a number of special types of wood that are sold in conjunction with special orders, e.g. Teak, ash, chestnut, golden rain, cherry, wengé, zebrano, beech, etc.
We finish all products with a high-quality wood oil, but if you would prefer e.g. an oil with a white pigment, we can of course do that too - the desired final treatment can be mentioned under the remarks of the ordering.

You can now get all RJ Woodworks products with copper details as an alternative to brass or aluminium for an additional charge depending on size and design.

We take all product photos ourselves and try to continuously expand the catalog as far as possible, so that sizes and designs are best illustrated in the webshop.Please note that all product photos are real photographs of the specific products.
